Alisa is the owner and Executive Chef of Alisa’s Painted Bistro, a pastry, bistro and pottery painting studio in Aventura, Florida. Prior to that, Alisa was the owner and executive chef of Cafe Biba, an Italian restaurant chain in Mexico City, Tutto Dolce, a high-end wholesale pastry manufacturer, Cafe Kakaw, a pizza and bistro casual outlet and La Trufa, a French bistro in Mexico City.
Alisa was born and raised in Mexico City and now lives in Miami. She has a Masters in Pastry from Ecole Lenotre, Plaisir, France, and took Pastry Specialty Courses at Ritz Escoffier Cooking School, Paris, France) and Gastronomy at L’Academie de Cuisine, Bethesda, Maryland. Alisa also has a major in graphic design from the Universidad de Nuevo Mundo, Mexico.
